Helping those impact by HIV/AIDS
To improve the lives of the economically challenged, especially children who have been orphaned by or exposed to HIV/AIDS
To alleviate poverty and be the model village of Africa.
Angel Strong supports Botshibelo - an organization that was founded in 1990 and today has become a self-sustaining community that includes an orphanage, school, village, medical clinic and organic farm.
The Botshibelo school educates about 270 children up to the ninth grade. After that, some go on to study at other schools and others find jobs.
The Botshibelo orphanage houses about 250 AIDS and economic orphans. But it's so much more than just an orphanage; it's home. The children here are given not only shelter and food, but love, support and hope.
A small medical clinic provides basic medical care for all Botshibelo residents and is where AIDS patients are monitored to make sure they take their antiretroviral medications.
Anyone in need of help can come to Botshibelo, find a home and together, work to make a successful and growing community.
